Mr. James Hamer (Jim) is Director, SCI Program and has been with the company for more than 25 years, holding positions of increased responsibility throughout his career with DP Clinical. In his current role, Mr. Hamer provides leadership to DP Clinical’s SCI team to ensure project success. Jim has managed numerous acute and chronic SCI clinical trials which include drug, device, and stem cell therapy trials. Mr. Hamer understands the challenges of conducting SCI clinical trials and with his strong SCI knowledge he and the DP Clinical team provide potential clients input on study design and assessments for their clinical trials. His therapeutic experience also includes cardiovascular, infectious disease, and rheumatology clinical research.
Mr. Hamer is an active member of the American Spinal Injury Association (ASIA) and the Autonomic Standards Committee. He is also a Board Member of Unite 2 Fight Paralysis. Mr. Hamer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Business Management from the University of Maryland University College in College Park, Maryland. He also holds an Associate’s degree in Business Management from Montgomery College in Rockville, Maryland.
